“The way Pat does things is inspiring to me, both as a fellow artist and just as a person. The Studio X Event is the kind of art event that I love to be part of: art, music, humans ... in an unpretentious art-centric environment that is casual enough for people to be able to just relax and enjoy the art and ultimately, themselves.”

I want to tell you that I really enjoy your website. I check it often. Pat, you may not know it, but you have really been inspiring me through your website so thank you!

"I had a blast at the studio X event. It was a great mix of people, music, food and art. I was quite moved by Pat's work on display, his stucco and oil stick pieces. The backgrounds of these pieces pulled me in with their colors and impressionistic composition, quite warming and complex. Switching focus to the foreground I found the symbols and figures that reminded me of ancient cave dwelling paintings. These seemed to say - "We represent something sacred, something ancient, we mean whatever you want us to mean, write your own story here.”
Bob Egan - Blue Rodeo / Wilco
“If you are looking for a unique and personal gift for your clients you have to check out Pat's art! I have given pieces to many of my clients and they have all loved to see their new homes sketched and framed! What client isn't excited about their new house? Giving a gift like this is a much more personal touch than giving a gift certificate. Pat is incredibly talented at what he does. He is willing to work with you on whatever project you throw his way and he always gets it done in lightening speed. Chosing a gift for a client should be about giving them something back that they will appreciate for years to come and to thank them sincerely for their Business. Pat's art the perfect way to do both!”

“I just graduated from the fine art program at Queen's University and I think your work is amazing! When I was told that you didn't even go to art school I was so surprised. Your work is so much better than many works I've seen from people who have taken years and years of classes. You have a really awesome concept of composition and colour which cannot be learned. I love the way that your work combines abstract with non-abstract which is what I try to do in my work. I would love to send you some pictures of my work and get some feedback.”
Katrina Schaman - Art Student
“I was really taken by your work but especially your "tribal series". I love how it communicates a kind of deep seated creative power from which spontaneous flashes of insight arise as hieroglyphics or symbols. It really speaks of what I feel is the general pattern behind any creative offering: that from the depths of our being first emerges a bed of raw, unmediated feeling. And through its continual filtering, through mind and in time, personal and collective meaning erupts like temporary sparks of consciousness.”
Katie Wreford - Producer - Mirador / Studio A Productions
The Studio X event was a wonderful experience. I was proud to be part of it. There was a wonderful vibe in the room and Pat’s art set the tone. I am sure no art critic, but for me his art projected a positive mood. There was something honest about it. It was created by someone who believes in art and has been actively involved with it for years. There was a maturity to this event that you rarely see. Awesome work! Keep it comin’!”

“Wow...I'm very intrigued by your artwork. You know what I always admired about you? You are who you are, and have never tried to mold to anyone's expectations.
Pardon the cliche, but you've always "kept it real." I respect that!”
