The Wandering Artoholic - Special Edition

OK, so check this out Artoholics! I had a brain storm and decided to put it into action.

I thought it would be super-cool to begin one of my Wandering Artoholic journals by writing some words about who I am, what this zine thingy is all about, draw some funky ink drawings and THEN pass it around the WORLD and have folks from all walks of life contribute to the rest. I want to send it from country to country and ask people to fill out a few pages here in there with who they are, what they do, what are their dreams and passion and maybe add a drawing or two as well and then pass that baby on. The idea is it will ultimately make it’s way back to me and I will edit it and print it and release it as a SPECIAL EDITION journal. COOL HUH?!

But wait! It gets better! If all works out, I will be adding photos and bios of each person as they receive it and we will track where the hell this baby goes. I realize this might all be pushing my luck but hey, what do we really have to lose.

So here is how we start. I have two working copies of these Travel Around The World journals that I have put into motion and sent out into the great big abyss. From this point you can come to this page now and then and click on either VOLUME I or VOLUME II (still in the works) on the top left hand side of this page and follow the journey. I would love to hear what you think of this BIG IDEA and appreciate any input. Maybe add it to my MESSAGE LOUNGE for all to read of you like. So here we go...check back every few weeks or so and we’ll try to keep those two VOLUMES drifting from this place to that!
